The courageous whistleblowers we represent put a lot on the line when they disclose fraud or other securities law violations to their employers or the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  Unfortunately, retaliation against whistleblowers is all too prevalent at many companies.  According to the Ethics & Compliance Initiative’s Global Business Ethics Survey, corporate employees feel increased pressure to compromise organizational standards.  In the private sector, more than one in three employees who reported misconduct experienced retaliation.
